CREATION vs. EVOLUTION

Darwin was only half right. The progressive succession of natural selection among animal species did serve to advance the development of those species. This is proved by the fossil record.

Between man and ape, however, there still exists a gap not yet explained by the fossil record ... the missing link. It is this same missing link which also still confounds the creationists, who are aware of prehistoric settlements in Jericho and Mureybit.

This is despite misleaders like James Ussher, Archbishop of Armagh, who proclaimed in 1654 that the world was created on October 22nd, 4004 B.C., at 6:00 p.m. Or the equally spurious Dr. John Lightfoot, who in 1859 revised Ussher's estimate backwards in order that the "heavenly" creation might fall on the more heavenly Sunday, October 21st, at the precise hour of nine o'clock in the morning. Lightfoot made this contribution, by strange coincidence, in the same year Darwin's "Origin of Species" was published.

Like the evolutionists, creationists find a piece of the puzzle missing. That missing link in man's development is the biogenetic intervention by an extraterrestrial intelligence. Some have called it God ... but the Beings in this case are not supreme, only superior, as we shall one day be to our present inferior status.
