REASONABLE

Humanity knows no color;
All blood is red ...
Every heart can beat with
Anger, love, or sorrow ....
Every person has a right
To exist without encumbrance
By any other, for that other
Would also claim the same respect;
And there is no human alive
Who can rightfully claim the right
To encroach upon or diminish
Another by fear or force,
For the same doctrine of
Mutual respect precludes it.
We are creatures of the
Special gift of reason,
And it naturally follows that
The weight of such a gift
Is equally balanced by the
Debt of duty to its practice.
